NICK CALTON

Nick has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years working his way up from the trades through site management, project management through to design management a role he has been undertaking for 15 years and currently is overseeing the Design of the £180m F35 Bed-down project at RAF Lakenheath with a team of design Managers, BIM Coordinators and document controllers.

Through his life in construction he has gained a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management and is a consultant member of the National Register of Access Consultants. He has also been a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Building for over 15 years, and until the end of 2018 was the Chairman of the Norwich committee for the CIOB.

In his personal life he enjoys family life living on the edge of Norwich in a Grade 2* Jacobean farmhouse he and his wife restored recently and helps his wife run the Holiday barn and cookery school business. He has a passion for Architecture and building and a low tolerance threshold for bad design.
