ROGER BOND

A Chartered Surveyor by profession, Roger has worked in property for 35 years and in higher education for 18 years. Roger is Director of Estates and Facilities at the University of East Anglia, and is responsible for the operation, asset management and development of the university campus. Roger was previously Estates Director at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and Assistant Director of Facilities at the University of Hertfordshire, prior to that he was involved in management and disposal of assets in the commercial sector.

As a former Executive Member of the Association of University Directors of Estates Roger is particularly interested in sustainable development and the reshaping on the university campus estate. Roger is a committee member of the Norfolk Branch of Constructing Excellence and an Association of University Directors of Estates representative on the RICS Faculty Group for Management and Public Sector, and he contributed to the “RICS Public Sector Asset Management Guidelines: A guide to best practice” publication.
